BASIC TRAINING DISCIPLESHIP CLASS
A Foundational Journey for Spiritual Growth
The Basic Training Discipleship Class is a structured, accessible learning experience designed to help everyday believers grow in spiritual clarity, consistency, and maturity.
This course is not about religious performance or information overload. It is about formation — understanding how faith takes shape in real life, within real community, and through intentional practice.
Each session builds on the one before it, creating a clear discipleship pathway that moves participants from personal awareness to purposeful living.
HOW THE COURSE IS STRUCTURED
The course is built around focused sessions, each anchored in a single biblical passage and explored through historical context, thoughtful reflection, and practical application.
Participants engage through:
-
Video teachings

Session 1 – The Conversion Journey
Participants explore what conversion truly means by walking through Acts 9:1–20. This session focuses on awareness, transformation, and the early stages of spiritual change. Learners examine how growth often begins with discomfort, honest reflection, and intentional response.
Session 2 – The Call to Commitment
Using Matthew 19:16–26, this session examines the difference between curiosity and commitment. Participants reflect on priorities, attachments, and the internal barriers that can prevent deeper engagement with faith.
Session 3 – The Call to Community
Acts 2:42–47 serves as the foundation for understanding spiritual growth within community. This session highlights connection, contribution, care, celebration, and continuity as essential practices for healthy faith development.
Session 4 – The Call to Communication (Prayer)
Grounded in Matthew 6:9–13, this session reframes prayer as intentional communication shaped by relationship, alignment, honesty, and endurance. Participants learn how prayer forms perspective and sustains spiritual movement
Session 5 – The Call to Connection (Scripture)
Using 2 Timothy 3:16–17, this session helps participants engage Scripture thoughtfully and responsibly. Emphasis is placed on understanding context, reflecting deeply, responding practically, and allowing Scripture to shape daily living
Session 6 – The Call to Comfort (The Holy Spirit)
Using John 14:15–27, this session explores the ongoing presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. This session highlights comfort, guidance, discernment, spiritual strengthening, and transformation as essential elements of spiritual growth and maturity.
